ROTARY CLUB OF MONROE VIRTUAL BARN DANCE & AUCTION

ONLINE AUCTION OPENS FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 6th AT 8AM
CLOSES SUNDAY NOVEMBER 8th AT 8PM

The Rotary Club of Monroe will hold its annual fundraising auction, Barn Dance, online this year from Friday, November 6th - November 8th. Although we will miss being together in person, we believe this decision will keep people in our community safe and help stop the community spread of the Covid 19 virus.  

Since the start of the Stay at Home Order in March, the Rotary Club of Monroe has donated over $9,000 to help the most vulnerable members of our community with food, shelter, and other necessities. We project the need in our community will increase in the second half of this year. Please help us raise the dollars we need to keep this support going.

With your help, funds raised at the Barn Dance this year will be used to support multiple local organizations including:

Take the Next Step  – Housing Hope – Local Foodbanks – The Monroe Boys and Girls Club -  The Monroe YMCA

The Monroe Public Schools Foundation – The Monroe Police Department K9 Program

Many nonprofits, including those mentioned above, have not been able to conduct their normal fundraising events because of the pandemic. Now, more than ever, these organizations need our help to support low income and homeless families in our community to obtain the housing and services they deserve. Without The Rotary Club and other community organizations, these families would not have access to basic needs such as housing and food as well as counseling and children’s programs.
